God keeps his promises…today, tomorrow and forever. What is His promise to us? We are destined to inherit the riches of Christ Jesus and reign with Him forever. WOW!
Is that it? Is it enough? What about today and all the tomorrows before we leave earth for eternity? Christ did not leave us alone so that we might wearily wander on earth until we reside with Him in heaven. Christ was resurrected from the cross, scripture promises you and I that the same resurrection power that raised Him from the dead is available to you and I. The letter to the Romans says, “This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!”
The PromiseKeeper calls us to live the resurrected life, on adventure with God. He commands us to ask, What’s next, Dad?
